Repairing Old Buildings: The SPAB Approach - Part of the Lunchtime CPD Series

The SPAB is pleased to offer a second series of its popular short introductory sessions on key subjects, first run in 2017. These are specially designed to give you a way to easily meet your CPD requirements and improve your understanding of building conservation during your lunch break.

Held at our offices in central London, a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, we will be offering four sessions on core conservation topics, led by experts. Lunch is included in the ticket price and it is a great opportunity to meet likeminded people and discuss issues informing the care of historic buildings.

VENUE: The SPAB, 37 Spital Sq, London, E1 6DY

TARGET AUDIENCE: managers and staff of period properties; building conservation professionals; construction professionals; students; home owners; general interest; introductory.

The fee includes refreshments and a sandwich lunch.

ABOUT THE COURSE:

The SPAB was founded in 1877 to promote a distinctive approach to building conservation. More than 140 years later, this is still core to everything we do. In this session, the SPAB’s Director, Matthew Slocombe, will explain different building conservation philosophies and the principles that inform the SPAB’s practical approach.
