The SPAB is a charity and our work in training, technical advice and casework is dependent on the support of members and others willing to help financially.  We receive some contributions from publicly funded bodies, including English Heritage, Cadw, and we have HLF support for our current Faith in Maintenance project.  A number of charitable trusts also provide us with valuable assistance and some commercial bodies have generously sponsored specific events.   Most of our funding, however, currently comes from membership fees, and from donations and bequests.
