A Study Day organised by a number of distinguished Belgian Conservation practitioners
who will give presentations about their involvement with the built heritage of
many periods of Belgian’s history.
Due to generous sponsorship we are able to offer the day without charge to members
of all the National Amenity Societies. However, as the venue has a limited capacity,

THE SOCIETY FOR CHURCH ARCHAEOLOGY & SOCIETY FOR POST-MEDIEVAL ARCHAEOLOGY
Joint Annual Conference

The Maids Head Hotel, Tombland, Norwich
Themes covered include the ongoing impact of religious and political conflict
in post-Reformation Britain and Europe, the archaeology of immigrant groups in
the early modern world, nonconformist buildings and landscapes in the eighteenth
and nineteenth centuries, and post-medieval funerary practices from 1580 to 1900.
The conference fee of £42.00 includes tea and coffee breaks and a two-course
lunch on Saturday 13th and a tea and coffee break on the morning of Sunday 14th
(but not lunch, which can be booked separately at the hotel for £12.95 per person).
A one-day rate of £36.00 is available for Saturday 13th only (for instance, if
delegates wish to use the Sunday as an opportunity for extended visits to Norwich
churches and chapels).
