This course will be relevant to anyone who lives in a classic terraced house, whether it is an early example dating from the Georgian era through to properties built in the Victorian, Edwardian periods and later.
This one-day event could be the ideal Christmas gift for friends or family members who have taken on a terraced property and now want to find out more about the best ways to look after it. On booking a place, enquirers will receive a free copy of the hardback SPAB publication ‘Old House Handbook’ co-written by Marianne, and details of the one day Terraced House event in a presentation pack – perfect to unwrap on Christmas morning.
As well as looking at the history and architecture of the terraced house, the day will cover topics including:
