CONSERVING HISTORIC BUILDINGS: masterclasses presented by the SPAB and Historic Royal Palaces
Since 2012, the SPAB has teamed up with Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) to offer a programme of one-day masterclasses in building conservation and repair. The masterclasses are often run to concide with live repair projects at HRP's properties - thus providing a unique learning environment for the delegates.

Combining lectures, practical demonstrations and hands-on workshops, these masterclasses are likely to meet Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements for those who are professionally involved with buildings (e.g. architects, surveyors, engineers, planners, builders, contractors, craftsmen and women) and are recognised for CPD by the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC).

The masterclasses are extremely popular and, with limited space available (to keep the workshops small), you are advised to book a place as early as possible.

The masterclasses are likely to meet CPD requirements for those profesionally involved in historic buildings; including architects, surveyors, engineers, planners, builders, contractors and craftspeople.
