SPAB Scholars and Fellows
Follow each year’s intake of Scholars and Fellows as they embark on a countrywide conservation tour. This unique programme offers young professionals the chance to travel to historic sites, workshops and studios across the UK so they can learn from architects, building specialists and craftspeople working in traditional ways.

Philip Webb Centenary
This blog will shine a spotlight on the life, work and philosophy of the unsung hero of British architecture and co-founder of the SPAB, Philip Webb (1831-1915).  Each post will focus on one aspect of Webb’s life and work, using objects from a variety of collections to illustrate the theme.

Douglas' Project
Keep up with Douglas Kent, SPAB's Technical and research director, as he breathes new life into his old house. Grade I-listed, timber-framed and with 14th-century origins, the property is undergoing an extensive programme of updating, repairs and alterations using an SPAB-inspired conservation approach - the antithesis of 'restoration'.
